Choose an equipment adapted to your children

We advise the following clothing :

Tights or thermal leggings.
T-shirt
Roll neck jumper
Jumper or fleece
Your child’s ski suit must be the right size for your child i.e. big enough to cover their ankles and wrists.
Sunglasses or goggles (depending on the weather)
Gloves or mittens (ideal when very cold)
Helmet (even if it’s hot)
Leave a scarf or neck warmer in their pocket in case of sudden weather change
Sun cream
Before your child leaves for their lesson, please check that they have their lift pass on them
(especially if they change their ski jacket/suit during the course of the week), a cereal bar and some change in case of a break in the warm if necessary.
Remember that skiing is an outdoor sporting activity in the mountains and usually in cold conditions. Make sure that your child sleeps properly, has a good breakfast and/or lunch for the afternoon lessons. Respect their rhythm and let them rest regularly during the day.

Important

The International Ski School advise you to contract your personnal insurance not included in our lessons.
Several types of insurance cover you for the ski area. The “Carte Neige” is offered with the lift passes. You can also validate your personal insurance cover as well as that of your children.
Our lesson prices do not include the lift passes. You can find out the lift pass tariffs on our “Megeve” page on the resort’s winter site. Click on “forfaits de ski” (“lift passes”). In the case of any lessons being stopped regardless of us, no reimbursements will be made.

When taking part in our ski lessons, you are responsible for your own safety and that of those around you. The basic rules of safety on the piste are highlighted on our “safety rules” page. Even though the instructor will teach you these, it is important to be aware of them before arriving on the pistes.

When off-piste skiing, you must be aware that there is a certain risk. The presence of a guide or instructor does not mean that there is less of a risk. In order to maximise your safety, it is important to give your instructor entire responsibility for your lesson.
